Austin Improv

In 2015, The Hideout Theatre will be putting on its second full year of Student Mainstage Productions. These shows will be performed by current or past Hideout students. Rehearsals will be weekly for the 2 months leading up to the run. The run will last 4 weeks.

The goal is for these shows to mirror as closely as possible the process and production values of the Hideout Mainstages.

The first of the productions for 2015 is One Small Step, directed by Jessica Arjet and Andreas Fabis.

In this show we follow a group of astronauts on their journey from lift-off to the first step on a distant world. We will explore the space journey genre from a variety of angles and will focus on the power dynamics and relationships of a small group of people. And as with any space journey there will be twists, surprises and dangers. Oh, and zero G!

AUDITION: Sunday, November 30th, 3pm-6pm (Audition sign-up form)
REHEARSAL: December/January/February
SHOWS: 6pm on Saturdays in February (7, 14, 21, 28th) (keep in mind that the 14th is Valentine's day)

thoroughly entertained.

It was a very difficult decision to make because there is so much talent
among the students at the Hideout. We wish we could have cast all of you!
