Rehearsals: Wednesdays in November, 8-10. Wednesdays in December, 7-10. Wednesdays in January 6-8.
Performances: Jan/Feb, Saturdays 8-10

The Trip (working title) will be the Hideout Mainstage show running January and February every Saturday at 8pm.

Should you audition? Yes!
The Trip follows two protagonists as they navigate a pivotal journey in their lives, and we need improvisors to provide grounded characters that an audience can’t stop watching. Think less Road Trip and more Motorcycle Diaries.

Each week a new pair inhabits the lead roles, giving our cast a rare opportunity to shine with copious stage time. But the weekly duo isn’t alone. Our full ensemble uses dynamic stage pictures and movement to create a stunningly visual world that reflects the emotional weight of our protagonists’ thoughts and actions.

Emphasis is on ensemble, group movement, and heightening emotions and themes both nonverbally and verbally.

Join us as we discover the scene-work and style of storytelling that will make The Trip one to remember.

The auditions are on November 2nd from 4:00-7:00. Although we are currently assuming 30 minute slots, please check all slots that apply as we might decide to do hour long auditions instead.
