Air Guitar Dec. 27 9:45pm - You are all invited

Hello Friends,

I wanted to extend to everyone in the AI community free admission to Alamo Drafthouse Downtown on Dec.27th at 9:45pm if you compete in the Air Guitar championships. If you don't know what it is, check out this website http://www.austinairguitar.com or http://www.usairguitar.com. Basically, come dressed as a character and perform Air Guitar for 1 minute (you pick the song). The winner gets a free trip to New York City in May to compete in the US Finals against the other cities and the winner of the US Air Guitar goes on Conan O' Brien and get's flown out to Finland for the World Championship. For my own personal joy, I would love to see you guys there !

I know Jen has been busy today so I thought I would respond for her!! Air Guitar is every last Thurs. of the month until the finals in NY in May!!! I was there last year for every show and it is so much fun!!!! Could you imagine getting to go to NY and Possibly Finland (for the international competition to represent the U. S. F'in A.!!!!) just for having several drinks and performing air guitar!!!!!! Yeasscccchhhh!!!!

It's the last Tuesday of every month. So you will have Dec. 27, Jan 31, Feb. 28, March 28 and April 25th. The 3 winners from each preliminary round compete in May for the Austin Air Guitar title and go to NYC. Everyone in the Austin Improv community has an open invitation to enter for free in each round.
