My name is Beth Elderkin. I'm part of a panel during SXSW Gaming, titled 'We Are Player One: Diversity in Gaming." The panel is about reaching out to different types of gamers, including but not limited to ethnicity, gender, body type, sexual orientation, etc.
We are including a performance piece during the one-hour panel, which features song and spoken word. We are seeking three females to perform an a capella arrangement for the performance piece. The panel is Sunday, March 9th at 5pm. The performance piece will be roughly 5 to 10 minutes.
SXSW Gaming is a free event that draws thousands of people per day. This is a great chance to work with some fellow performers in Austin, as well as have something impressive for your resume, i.e. "performed at SXSW."

If you are interested in auditioning, please email me at bethelderkin@gmail.com. I'm looking to have an alto, a mezzo and a soprano for the parts, but it's flexible depending on your range. The deadline to contact me is Saturday, Feb. 15. I will be setting up audition times for the following week. There would be 2 to 3 rehearsals before the performance. Each would last roughly 2 to 3 hours.
