A tri-state improv tournament of champions will be held at ColdTowne Theater on Feb. 28th & March 1st.
For months now improv theaters in Dallas, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, and Austin have been hosting improv tournaments to determine the cream of their local crop.
2 winners from each city will travel to Austin at the break of winter to take part in a tournament of champions where only one group will take home the title of best in the southwest.
The victor will also take home the coveted Jar Full Of Gas Money (whose grand total is ever increasing).
We'll even be having a special BACK FROM THE DEAD round to give out of town groups a second chance to take home the gold.
More detailed information about when certain groups will be competing, tickets, and workshop registration will be released soon.
Friday - February 28th
8pm - Team 1 vs Team 2
9pm - Team 3 vs Team 4
10pm - Team 5 vs Team 6
11pm - Team 7 vs Team 8
Saturday - March 1st
8pm - Winner 1 vs Winner 2
9pm - Winner 3 vs Winner 4
10pm - Back From The Dead Round (6 groups that have been eliminated)
11pm - Finalist 1 vs Finalist 2 vs Back From The Dead Winner
12:30pm - Party City!
