The Institution is so overbrimming with talent that we have to expand our showcases. So our upper levels have been shifted into full ensemble mode and they are ready to show off.
Join us for two new homegrown improv groups with a different guest headliner each night: Indigo Shift on December 5th and Baxter & Bernard on December 12th.
All this talent, only $5.
First you'll see the classic improv format The Harold directed by Clifton Highfield and performed by Duncan Coe, Justin Davidson, Steve Glazer, Laura Komkov, Kristen Kurtis, Craig Nigh, Taylor Overstreet, Madison Torres, and Elena Weinberg.
Following that will be an improvised one-act play directed by Tom Booker and featuring Claudio Fox, Andrew Johnston, Joe Ricks, Katie Ricks, Heidi Rogers and Joseph Tran.
Our guests:
DECEMBER 5th: INDIGO SHIFT One night only…because there’s only one night left! Indigo Shift is an improvised dystopian cabaret, an apocalyptic mix of stories, scenes and songs to wait out and ring in the end of the world, following a troupe of performers (Solomon Strange, Anita Deva, and Doc St. Jenkins) as they play one final show for the last night on Earth. Discussing apocalyptic themes with the audience through the lens of these characters, Indigo Shift draws threads to weave into the ultimate performance...literally. So…pull up a chair. Have a drink. Come and see...
DECEMBER 12th: BAXTER & BERNARD Tom Booker and Asaf Ronen play "Baxter & Bernard," the world's most eligible confirmed bachelors - giddily so. Join them and their manservant, Meredith, as they travel the far corners of the audience's imagination in search of adventure and the love of the ladies.
