FACT OF THE DAY: The Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart, Germany is home to the world’s largest artificial tornado, a 34-meter column of air in the central atrium. The feature exists not as an attraction, but as a safety feature; in the case of fire, the tornado draws smoke from the wings of the museum into the atrium and funnels it upwards to an exhaust vent on the roof.
