CONTESTANT: New weekly comedy competition series being produced for a network by

Happy Madison and Tenth Planet - is looking for the most talented comics in the country to

showcase your comedy skills - we're seeking the undiscovered Will Ferrells, Kristin Wiigs,

Jimmy Fallons, Ken Jeongs and Tracey Morgans. You must be a multi-faceted comic, able to

do some or all of the following: original characters, impersonations, musical comedy, stand-up,

short films, and comedic acting. And if you write your own material, that's a plus. We are open

to any performer 18 and over - from those who have limited appearances on network comedy

shows, to those performing in comedy clubs, underground theaters, improv troupes, independent

films, Funny or Die, You Tube and even college sketch groups.

16 talented upstarts will be cast and face weekly challenges in all different areas of comedy. The

contenders will be mentored by our three judges (some of the biggest names in comedy) and will

receive advice from special guest comedy superstars. One comic contender will rise above the

rest and, at the end of the series, win a big cash prize.

The show will film in Los Angeles in the Spring of 2014 and all participants will be required to

be exclusive and in LA during the actual production period (approximately 10 weeks). All hotel,

airfares, and expenses will be covered by the show.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION:

Tape length – 3 mins or less per category (Sketches, original characters, impersonations, musical

comedy, stand-up, short films, etc.)

At the beginning of your tape, make sure you include a “slate”, which means you either say or

show your name, age and location.
