Membership Benefits and Responsibilities

Post by acrouch »

And here is where Christina will be posting the membership benefits and responsibilities that we brainstormed during the general body meeting. Which I'm creating now so I can link to it from the newsletter. Tada!

it's a fine line between responsiblity and benefit with some of these things . . . so these designations can be taken with a grain of salt.

individual benefits: free shows, branding (access to the AIC brand), access to advertising, opportunities to teach, show support training, performance opportunities, equipment access, resource access, invitations to AIC events and parties, voting privileges, press coverage, discounts, forum access, mentoring, mailing list access, extra consideration for OoB and Wafflefest, webspace, access to support personnel, videography

individual responsibilities: keeping the theater and green room clean, help out at theater workdays, maintaining the booth, attending meetings, outreach, event planning, tech for Heroes shows, committee membership, flyering, promoting the Hideout, show ownership

group benefits: access to advertising, performance opportunities, equipment access, resorce access, press coverage, discounts, mentoring, extra consideration for OoB and Wafflefest, webspace, access to support personnel, videography, applying for funds from AIC, paid show slots, venue access, rehearsal space, access to teachers/coaches, AIC store, scheduling by AIC, pictures in the Hideout stairwell

group responsibilities: keeping the theater and green room clean, flyering, promoting the Hideout, maintaining quality, bringing in/expanding audiences, openness, jam support, hosting duties, development, continuing education
