Punchkin Repertory Theatre is looking for someone to fill a much needed role of Director for our upcoming production of, "The Relentless Pursuit of Ice" by local playwright, Max Langert. This production will take place as part of the highly regarded FronteraFest 2014.
We are looking for a professional and experienced Director to join our team, and help us on this creative journey.
Director duties include:
-Adapting a script and collaborating with the team
-Breaking down a script, analyzing and exploring the content and conducting relevant research
-Managing time and organizing people and space
-Communicating with all parties involved, including actors, the creative team, the production team
-Preparing detailed notes for the cast and creative and production teams
-Helping to publicize the production
-Must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances
-Must be patient and flexible in thinking
-Must be highly organized
-Must have reliable transportation
-And above all, must LOVE theatre!
