Attention all Austin actors, improvisers, and all around performers!!!

Two-Beards Theatre Company is holding auditions for its debut show, Mr. Marmalade by Noah Haidle

The show will rehearse during the month of September and perform October 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th at 8pm with an added performance on the 5th at 10pm.
Actors will be called to at least two rehearsals a week, unless otherwise required.
Auditions will consist of a group exercise and cold readings from the script. (Feel free to dress in movement attire)

When: August 21st Late Evening
Where: Salvage Vanguard Studio Theatre

Play Description:
Lucy is a four-year-old girl with a very active imagination. Unfortunately, her imaginary friend Mr. Marmalade doesn't have much time for her. Not to mention he beats up his personal assistant, has a cocaine addiction, and a penchant for pornography and very long dildos. Larry, her only real friend, is the youngest suicide attempt in the history of New Jersey. MR. MARMALADE is a savage black comedy about what it takes to grow up in these difficult times.

Character Descriptions:
Lucy - 4years old. Has a vivid imagination. (Played by an adult actress)
Mr. Marmalade - Her imaginary friend. Dresses nice. Never had any time for her.
Sookie - Lucy's mom. Relies on men for more than they're good for.
Emily - The babysitter. The first girl in her class to get boobs.
George - Her boyfriend. A jock. Wears a letter jacket.
Larry - 5 year old. Has bandages on his wrists. The youngest suicide attempt in the history of New Jersey. (Played by an adult actor)
Bradley - Mr. Marmalade's personal assistant. Can sing like an angel.
A Cactus and A Sunflower - Talking plants. Larry's imaginary friends.
A man - a one-night stand.
