FACT OF THE DAY: The original script for The Empire Strikes Back has Han Solo escaping Cloud City. The subplot about being frozen in carbonite was written when Harrison Ford hesitated in agreeing to appear in Return of the Jedi, so that he could be revived or killed off as needed.
