Stepping in from the wings!

Hi everyone!

I'm Niki; I've been coming to improv shows for a couple years now, watching my husband and my friends in their different troupes and shows, and decided it was time for me to give it a shot!

I am about to complete Merlin-Works 101, and going to begin 201, and today I played in my first mixer (and it was singing! OMG!). I had a blast and can't wait to do more.

Deano keeps begging me to sign up for a Maestro; I thought he was crazy, but after today's singing mixer, I dunno... I think I got improv fever! I'm so happy to be a part of the AIC (and not just from the audience)!

Love the Janice avatar! Welcome.

(Hmmm... makes me want to go out and look for a Rowlf to replace my green dinosaur)

Oh, so does this mean you're gonna have troupes rehearse at the house now? :?

And yes, WELCOME! Finally!

Hi, Niki! We met at the Merlin Mixer a couple weekends ago. I'm glad we interacted at the mixer before I knew you were married to improv royalty (he's commanded me to bow my head when he passes) and so I was able to form an unbiased opinion that you are a very charming and funny person. Like you, I had many friends involved in improv before I finally decided to join in. So I relate to that feeling of having watched from the sidelines and then the rush of finally experiencing it yourself. I'm glad you decided to jump in too. And from what I saw at the mixer, both you and the people play with are going to have a really fun time!
