POLL QUESTION: OOB Fundraiser

Ticket would include a catered dinner, a show by an awesome out of town performer who has never played Austin who you most likely really want to see, and live music from the Misfolks, all at the Scottish Rite Theatre in early August on a Sunday evening.

FYI, these funds will go toward booking awesome talent, keeping ticket and badge prices reasonable, and paying rent at the theatres during the festival.

umm, Jeremy, so what about those of us who might live out of town, say in houston, who might be willing to help out with this? because of a good experience that we had at your festival previously...

so what i'm saying is: how about a friday or saturday night?

the fact that i would have to get a hotel room wouldn't be a bother. but sunday would be a pain, because i'd have to go into work late and i've already had a day off (without pay) once this year and will need two more of them (my boss doesn't know this yet) in ocotober.

btw, although august 11th IS my birthday, i'd still be asking for the 9th or 10th.

we picked Sunday evening because it will give us all day to set up and provides for the least competition for shows around town. we know this will not be ideal for everyone. sorry.
