EPIC Auditions

EPIC is a fantasy adventure show with an emphasis on audience participation.

I am looking for a cast of 8 to 10 people with a good mix of genders and ages. There are no prerequisites for getting cast other than being awesome but the following will be very helpful:

Experience with Improv - especially long form narrative.
Experience with traditional theater - the ability to memorize scenes and blocking.
Familiarity with the fantasy genre and it's tropes.
Familiarity with fantasy gaming - especially LARPs a plus.

Expectations

Participation in EPIC is multidisciplinary. Mastery of essential skills such as stage combat will be mandatory as will the willingness to memorize background details and dialog for set piece scenes. There will be rehearsals for every show and special rehearsals for skill building. Both will be mandatory.

Ambitions

There is a plan in place to create a weekly show - possibly twice weekly - that develops an audience of paying regulars that will eventually allow me to pay at least something to the cast and crew. I would also like to be able to travel the show to other cities and have already discussed the possibility of doing so to contacts who seem eager to have us.
