Austin Latino New Play Festival

Post by irmadelacruz »

Teatro Vivo presents the 3rd annual Austin Latino New Play Festival in The Long Center, May 16-18, 8 p.m. Seats are $10 general, $8 students and senior citizens per show. ALNPF three-day pass is available for $25 general and $20 students and senior citizens. A limited number of free general admission tickets are available to the public (http://www.teatrovivo.org).

ALNPF unites playwrights and audience members in conversation about 3 new workshop productions that bring insight into the Latino experience. The staged readings are workshop-style presentations with readings using props and movement on stage. After each workshop, the playwright, director and actors partake in talkback sessions with the audience.
