Audition for Video Short - Fifi & Mr. Pickles - May 4th

Greetings All,

I am shooting a video short 'Fifi & Mr. Pickles', on Saturday, May 4th, and am holding 'video' auditions for the short. It will be shot on green-screen in a garage in Pflugerville.

Non-union/Non-Paid - and no travel expenses
Film Credit and DVD Copy Provided
Food and Beverages provided at shoot

PLEASE NOTE - ALL TYPES, AGES, LOOKS, ETC ARE INVITED TO AUDITION FOR EITHER PART

Character Breakdown:

• Fifi - Young-ish French accented, New York City spoiled lap dog.
• Mr. Pickles - Old-ish Super Cute New York City spoiled lap dog.

The Fifi & Mr. Pickles actors will need to be available for the whole shoot day, and possibly into the early evening, on Saturday May 4, 2013 in Pflugerville. There will be one short rehearsal date/time scheduled before the shoot date.

As previously mentioned, auditions are being held as 'video' auditions (using your cell phone, tablet, webcam, etc.).

If you are interested, please e-mail me at - toppinghaggerty at gmail dot com - and I will send you the sides for the characters for your audition. Then you can send me a link to your audition, or we can arrange for you to put it into DropBox for me to view.

You will be able to submit your video auditions from Monday April 8th until midnight on Saturday April 13th. Casting notification will be made Monday April 15th.

If you are not cast, but your audition video is still great, I may request that I include your audition tape at the end of the short.

Point of clarification: the characters are actual literal lap dogs? (Will there be makeup/costuming to that effect?)

Yes, they are actual lap dogs. Minimal costumes, bejeweled collars and ears will be provided. They will be in their fancy carrying purses (I am building giant versions of said purses/carrying bags). It will be humans playing dogs (I'm not trying to hide that) so not huge transforming make-up.
