Here's one I've pointed people to frequently, it's Improv Playhouse but it was at the Hideout during the 2012 IPF.

What top-notch shows do you know of that are recorded and online? (paging Peter Rogers)

OOB did a great job of capturing Get Up's set from years ago.

Not the best quality, but I like this video of the Confidence Men scene I did with Jordan at the 42-Hour Improv Marathon.

To clarify I mean best *shows on video*, not best-quality videos of shows. In other words, which shows should I take the time to watch?

Peter, isn't the Maestro where the audience won on video?

Writers are hyperarticulate.  But they are not, by nature, friendly, sociable people. Writers are by nature people who observe other people being friendly and sociable and then go home and make fun of them.

Here's a sample Megaphone show from the Rosewood days. I remember it being pretty good, but can't review the tape in its entirety at the moment to confirm. Also I think I did more than just set the camera on a tripod & zoomed in and shit like that for this one.

If you're not familiar with the Megaphone Show, it's all about "comedy math" which is one branch of what New Movement tries to explore. It's an armando stlye show with a guest monologist (AsssCat, Stool Pigeon, etc).

And here's a video I'm particularly proud of, from the first tour where NOLA, Houston & Austin TNMers travelled together and brought our product to ten cities across the country. Thanks go to the Ghostlight Theater for filming. http://vimeo.com/35453849

This 2008 OOB show - VAROOM! (with Dave Razowsky) - remains one of my all-time favorites.

Self-serving, maybe. But I love this Midnight Society show.
