"Blood, Sweat, and Cheers" (a comedic play I am producing about the world of competitive cheerleading) is looking for a stage manager, lighting designer/light op, sound designer/sound op, and stage hands for our production.
These are PAID positions.

The production runs the weekends of May 30th-June 2nd and June 6th-9th at SVT. Thur-Sat shows are at 8pm and Sun shows at 5 or 6pm.

A little bit more about the focus of the show: 17-year-old June Davis has returned to her old cheer gym, Austin Cheer Depot, after a two-year sabbatical. While some of her former teammates are happy for her return, rival and Cheer Captain Kennedy Campbell is not pleased. June battles with and against her teammates, her parents, her coaches, her best friend James, and herself to make it to the top...but is being the best worth losing everything?

We've got Courtney Hopkin, Halyn Erickson, Karen DeWitt, Kaci Beeler and Kayla Lane Freeman playing the main cheerleader characters. Curtis Luciani and Amy Gentry portray the very comical coaches. Alex Dobrenko is playing James, the best friend. Paul Normandine and Jessica Arjet are June's parents. Roy Janik is directing the show. We're going to be on the large stage at SVT and the production will feature a full-scale cheer routine with 20-30 actual cheerleaders from the local gym Austin Cheer Factory.

This is a very BIG show, with a lot going on, but it's definitely going to be one-of-a-kind. If this sounds like the kind of challenge you'd like to take on and the people you'd like to work with, let me know!
