Has anyone, does anyone know of, an imp in our community that has taken class/graduated from all five schools in Austin?
I was watching 30 Rock the other day and Tracy Jordan's mad pursuit of the EGOT got my brain juices wondering about what that award would look like for the AIC.
Also, is there a better name for this than the crappy one I invented?
MINCH maybe?
NEW.TIT.OUT.MERLIN.TOWNE-ER?
Anything about the AIC itself.

I'm fairly confident that no one has done all five. As I said on the Facebook discussion, it was my intention, and I only got to three. Due to my involvement at TNM, I'm aware of everyone who has graduated from there and I feel pretty confident saying no one has graduated from there and all the other four.
It seems, also, from the Facebook discussion that there are a number of folks who have 3 of the 5, but I've yet to find or hear of someone who has 4.
That said, I do know that Jay Byrd has taken at least ONE class at all five theaters.
Also, this is inspiring me to want to get back to my original goal of studying at all five. I had this idea of doing that, and then coming up with a questionnaire for people who want to study improv in Austin (think like an online quiz) that would lead them to the school best suited to their needs and personality. But then, in addition to not finishing the 5 schools, I also realized that it would have been many years since I studied at the early places and my experience would be different than theirs...

I've greatly enjoyed the opportunity to play on 4 of the 5 stages in town, but have missed out on actual class participation, mainly due to finances. Most who know me, know I am broke as a joke. I think it would be interesting if the AIC did some type of Scholarship drive, that maybe could be awarded post Penta-Graduation. It wouldn't have to be a large amount, really just an award for the willingness to spend all that time and money.
Just a thought.
