Austin Improv

Hey all,

Well it looks like it's finally that time. At the end of March, I'll be moving to Minneapolis to be with my lovely lady, and while I'm excited to finally be living in the same town with the best girlfriend in the world, I'll of course be very sad to leave you all as well. I have learned more about myself in the last 7 years than I had in all my life. Improv may not have saved my life like it has for some of you, but it showed me a lot about being a human being and the joy of discovering who I am. I've been so grateful to know all of you in Austin -- Austin, quite possibly the greatest city in the world. I promise to take everything that Austin has given me and spread it as virulently as I can up in Minneapolis.

Of course I'll be back to visit for shows, festivals and what-have-you, and I know in my heart that someday, somehow I'll be back, but before I leave of course, I'll be looking for every opportunity to hang out and play with as many of you as I can. Marc Majcher has generously offered his place up for a big going away party sometime in March, so stay tuned for that info.

you fool! that much joy and delight cannot exist in one city! the only thing sparing us from the ensuing vortex of rainbows and puppies was having the two of you separated! you've doomed us all! DOOM!

For the first time ever, I am jealous of people in Minnesota. Take care and come visit.

I don't know what to say! I'm not surprised, I figured this day would come.

I've spent so much time thinking about stuff Eric has said in person and I can't imagine I would be the improviser I am today without all the discussions we've had. I'll miss you dearly, Eric. Looking forward to giving many hugs to store up before you take off.

I've never seen a greater need for human seasonal migration.
