DANGEROUS IMPROV
Six-Hour Improv Intensive with Danger! Warning! Improv! — Sunday, December 16, 12:30pm to 7pm (30-minute lunch break)

Don't wait for 2013 to make your improv resolutions and kick your game up five or six notches. Troy Miller and Andy Crouch have the perfect opportunity to revitalize your improv and connect you with a handful of bad ass improvisers.

We're teaching a "Dangerous Improv" workshop this Sunday. It's designed to get you doing super playful, fun, risky improv, so that you're fully engaged at all times in an improv scene or show. You'll have new ideas to take with you into future improv performances - and who knows? The next great Austin improv troupe may form out of this intensive.

During this six-hour intensive you will be exposed to techniques and philosophies designed to keep your improv dangerous and immensely playful. From playing multiple characters (and character switching) to scene painting to adopting cinematic techniques and creating vivid action sequences, by refusing to play it safe, you'll keep yourself and the audience fully engaged and energized every second of every show — while having the most fun you've ever had in performance.

This workshop is for anyone who has completed intermediate or higher improv instruction looking to up their improv game or just log some flight time, and is certainly useful for whole troupes who want to step it up and build tighter, more exciting ensemble. It's all all-day intensive, with a several short breaks, including a break for lunch.

Spaces are limited, so register sooner than later!
