The Puppet Improv Project is offering two classes this month through the UT Informal classes. The first up is this Saturday, 10/13!!
Puppet Manipulation Workshop -- This one (1) day workshop is a primer in puppet manipulation. Learn how to bring LIFE to inanimate objects and make ppl CARE about your CHARACTERS. Using scripts, games and a variety of puppet types & set pieces, students will explore and play with the basics of puppet manipulation -- eye contact, breath, staging, etc.

Our newest class is "Puppet Television" and happens on Saturday 10/27 from 1-4pm.
This is an intermediate class focused on how to play with the space framed by the camera's lens. Participants will face the challenges and benefits of working with puppets in television, gaining standard industry techniques to create appealing characters on the digital screen. A fun introduction to creating your own puppet video performances!
PREREQ: Some puppet manipulation experience;
