TNM Presents The Darkness - Immersive Comedy Doom

Post by Zzzombtron »

The sick minds at The New Movement present a partly-improvised immersive horror experience. Characters will wander through multiple rooms, interacting and evolving as they each deal with the growing evil that slowly overtakes their minds. Audience members may wander from room to room, interact with the characters (who will welcome them as guests to the party), or treat the show as a movable organic piece of art. Tension and inevitable dread will mount, until the thrilling conclusion...Jeremy's arrival in an unforgettable pitch black dungeon.

Shows begin promptly 9:00pm and 11:00pm on October 12th & 13th at The New Movement at 616 W Lavaca. Tickets are $5 and available at the door or online at enter the darkness dot org

I'm also intrigued.

Do you think this show will happen again? I can't make it this weekend.

I saw the show last night and loved it. I made one of the cast cry and she ran off and about 5 mintues later two of the other cast members confronted me about it and dragged another guest into it. They've worked really hard. Hopefully we'll do a similar style show again but this "story" ends tonight.

And such a fun series of performances, too! It was fascinating how each version of the Bat had its own emotional identity that ranged from sad/creepy to playful/flirtatious.

I hope we get to do this again and maybe alienate more ACL visitors who stumble into the the theatre thinking it's a bar.
