3 POSTS IN ONE DAY

Post by heckleher »

Hi.

I'm Adrienne and like DonnieX (howdy! conservatory pal!) I just moved back home after 4 winters in Chicago.

I am primarily a playwright so I play on the casual - when I need a good distraction or if I'm particularly afraid of something. Like music improv. It gives me night terrors but for whatever reason I still wanna play/learn. Maybe I just don't like a dry shirt onstage?

In Chicago I produced/directed an improvised paranormal comedy web series called COMPLETELY NORMAL ACTIVITY that will premiere its second season next Weds October 3rd (check my signature for the link - I'm not allowed to directly point you to things on the internet).

Would love some Austin eyes on the series - it's a labor of love, funded from our paychecks, just to have an excuse to create something from nothing with the best people on the planet. The cast are all champions and if you ever move to Chicago you'll see em onstage at iO, Annoyance and Second City . . . we've even got a few cameos from SC faculty!

Check it out. Holler if you're down. See you at some shows.

Adrienne

Welcome back.

I know Martha, and Bryan. In fact, slept on Beck's couch couple weeks ago.

Cheers,

Dan

CRAZY.

Hearn was in my Conservatory class and just jaw-droppin' good. Everything she touches - GOLD.

Beckwith was in my Writing 6 show and we interned together at Second City!

Yeah it is small. Even smaller in the improv community.

Martha and I went through iO at the same time, known Bryan for awhile and his current roomie is an old buddy of mine.

Hi Adrienne! Welcome back to Austin. See you around!

Welcome home, Adrienne!
The silver knives are flashing in the tired old cafe. A ghost climbs on the table in a bridal negligee. She says "My body is the life; my body is the way." I raise my arm against it all and I catch the bride's bouquet.
