The line from Bob Seger's "Hollywood Nights" keeps floating through my head:

"He headed west 'cause he felt that a change would do him good,
see some old friends, good for the soul..."

In my case it's north, not west - but I'm off in a few hours to do just that. Give myself some time to let some deep cuts heal and clear my head. I just wanted to say, not goodbye, but rather au revoir. I will be back from time to time and eventually, I imagine, permanently. Austin and you good folks make for the closest thing this nomad musician has ever called "home" - and I will continue to think of it and y'all that way.
