Voice-over talent needed...

Post by Chuy! »

A friend asked me to post this for anyone interested:

We have a great pro bono (yep, I said it) client called the Gazelle Foundation. They provide clean drinking water for people in Burundi, and their founder, Gilbert, is quite the local celebrity. His running group, Gilbert's Gazelles, host Run for the Water, a giant 10-mile, 5k and kids run to raise money for the foundation. Our agency has been helping them for a few years now, and this year, we totally rebranded them and cranked out a ton of awesome collateral.
This is the first year we get to create TV spots, which we actually just shot on Friday. We have about 7 different spots/viral videos that feature different shoes talking to each other about the Run for the Water. We shot some ridiculously fun spots, but now we need some incredible voices to go with them and bring them to life.
Do you know anyone in the biz, preferably with voice/improv experience who might be good for any or all of the attached spots? If they can audition just by sending us a read on their iPhone, that would be awesome.
We're looking to record at Charlie Tango (who shot the spots) this Thursday or Friday.

send auditions to Phil Davies <pdavies@sanderswingo.com> and Sarah Weigl <sweigl@sanderswingo.com>

I've been told I have a great voice for this kind of thing, but I have no iPhone...

Does "pro bono client" imply this is volunteer work? Or unknown?

(Also, to the readers: I believe "Charlie Tango" = Charlie Uniform Tango, which is on Dirty Sixth.)
