Hey Guys (And I mean that in a non-gender specific way)...

...but definitely in an Electric Company way. Maybe Topping, Tom, and Asaf will get that reference...
This is my tertius decimus (means 13th but sounds like 'talk dirty to me') post and I want to dedicate it to everyone in the community who welcomed me with open arms and an open mind. Not going to lie, was hoping for tongue, but what can you do...
Two years ago, I couldn't have imagined writing a musical sketch about Pro Choice vs. Pro Life featuring the puppets of Topping Haggerty. And I really couldn't imagine being part of a sketch show, selling out 2 of its 3 shows (hoping for #3 this Sunday). Guys: I WROTE A MUTHA-EFFING MUSICAL.
It wouldn't have been possible without improv, because I wouldn't have imagined it had I not taken a free improv workshop that turned into a year of classes and some shows and some more classes. I improvised my way into writing a mutha-effing musical.
Thank you to all the improvisers and actors I've watched over the past two years -- I'm learning from you every time I watch you. You are too many to name. Thank you to everyone taking part in "The Moral Compass Rumpus" at The Institution Theater. And special thanks to Topping Haggerty for the puppets and bringing Wiggly to life.
Oh, and happy Everyone Post To The Forum Day. Thank you, AIC Forum and everyone who works on it!
Best,
Roanna
