Mars Wright is the name. I'm currently enrolled in 201 at the Institution.

First, let me say that I haven't typed on a forum in ages, so this is nostalgic. But it's forum of people I can actually meet, so it's also fresh and exciting. (What a confusing combination?)

My focus is music, sorta. I grew up doing it. I do it often now. Blah blah blah, Austin musician, blah. The point is improv is great. Really freeing.

I just recently put in my two weeks at my day job (my last day is this Friday actually) to allow time for my creative endeavors. Who needs to eat, right? Right?!

Anyhow, I'm excited to meet the improv community. Everyone so far has been pretty great. I signed up for quite a few volunteer slots for OoB, so I'm sure I'll be meeting many of you sooner than later.

I was sort of a half-ass Austin musician for a while. Never terribly serious. In improv I've found my creative calling. There are plenty of other ex-musicians around, including, I believe, entire bands that became troupes. (Spirit Desire? Yes?)
