Making Maestro Magnificent

I'm beginning the push to get Maestro in tip-top shape for the fall semester.
That includes:
1) a structured sign-up system
2) directors scheduled in two month chunks (synched up with the AIC scheduling) and paid $15 per show
3) a paid tech position, $15 per show
4) postcards for advertising
Image
5) blank name plates so new players can make their own
6) a database of games and cheat sheets for directors
7) a small workshop series for people that are serious about making Maestro awesome.

If anyone is interested in helping me make these things happen, or if you have other ideas about how to make Maestro awesome, contact me. In the meantime, sign up for Maestro this week!

Oh, and I'm out of town Saturday, August 12 and Saturday, August 19. Is anyone interested in directing Maestro on those dates? Pretty please?

Phil = willing to help with any of this.

I'd also willingly direct on the 19th (I can't on the 12th because that's the FINALS NIGHT of the National Poetry Slam)

In what form are you thinking this directory will be? I could probably help on that front.

Because none of those people play any more. They are more than welcome to play, and some of them are darn good, but I can't remember the last time one of them played (maybe David in the first Muscial Maestro). Why not have a photo shoot at an actual Micetro some time in the near future and plug in faces in this awesome flyer of the players that the audience may actually see?

No big deal really...just a thought.

Actually those photos aren't even from a Maestro; they're from a graduation show. No time for reshoots right now. Let's make sure we're getting good photos in the meantime to use for the next round of publicity though.

I'm trying to take more pictures of shows (I want to shoot every troupe, actually) so I'll make sure I get some good Maestro pictures soon. Course, then I'll never be in them, but meh.

And those photos on the Start Trekkin' posters, they're from the Bonanza parody format we did back in 2003.
