"Many of you may know that Barbi Thomas was fighting an aggressive form of brain cancer. This past Sunday morning she passed away. While she had beaten the cancer, an infection took her life. The funeral will be on Wednesday. I will send more details as I get them. Some of her favorite memories were with Comedy Sports. Her family would like to honor her friends in their program and brochure --please send me your full names and spellings as soon as possible. Also, please forward this on. I am missing many email addresses of her friends.

Leah and Barbi were around the Hideout a bit before I left Austin, doing micetros and the like. I taught them in a couple classes here and there. They are both great people and Barbi will be missed.

Thanks for the note Leah. Many of us knew Barbi'd been in treatment again but that's the last I'd heard. Cargill got a hold of me and I sent a note out to the NCT/CSz guys. Thanks for helping her family. FYI, Tyler Bryce's Mom passed last weekend after a long fight with cancer as well. Love one another, Les McGehee
