an improvised New Wave film following the adventures of a pair of female friends exuding ennui and opening the world to what happens when the rules of traditional behavior are left behind.

"The European New Wave films of the 60's broke the conventions of classic, traditional movies and pushed the capability of film to tell a story by other means," says director Elizabeth Brammer. "They took a look at what it was to be alive in the period and tried to capture the bohemian, liberated, post-modern feeling in cool, sometimes jarring, intellectually intriguing ways. I wanted to do that with improv. We are using the elements of New Wave as a jumping off point, and the story of two enthusiastic, awesome women exploring the boundaries of their world as a guide through the discovery. Anything goes in improv but it still has its own conventions. How can we subvert these to have even more freedom and fun?"
The answer was to draw on all kinds of schools of improv thought - from the Chicago-style to narrative to short form - and put them together into one pot, where anything could be brought out at any time. The result is like no film or improv show before. Each is be unique, exciting, and has a delightful* je ne sais quas.*
