Celena Diamond Here! I am new to improv
Hi! This is Celena Diamond. Nice to meet you! I don't have anything witty or snort-inducing to say to introduce myself. I obsessed over this post for an hour. The delete key and I had many words back and forth. Then, out of the blue I heard the ever-so-masterful voice of my instructor say, "stop thinking." And this post was born.
I am currently taking Level I at The Institution Theater and going on to Level II. We just had our student showcase last night and it was a blast!!! I am hooked!!!!!
I am also an artist (painter) and handmade artisan with an Etsy shop. (I paint canvas and sew it onto bags and purses which I sew from scratch.)
Any-who, very nice to meet you virtually. I hope to meet you in person around town soon!

Writers are hyperarticulate. But they are not, by nature, friendly, sociable people. Writers are by nature people who observe other people being friendly and sociable and then go home and make fun of them.

Hi, Madeline! Yes, you did! And I believe I did a little bootie shaking with you as you were dancing on the sideline? Thanks for stopping by to say hello! Name dropping commencing in 3...2....1....Allison Asher said you are one cool person!Munga wrote:Well, hello now- I serenaded you at The Institution last week!
Madeline

And thanks everyone else for the new hellos. I am looking forward to getting outta my "I still feel like an awkward high school nerd" new social situation shyness and get to know and learn from you fine funny folks! Well... I guess if I was brave enough to dance a little with Madeline and I don't know her, then maybe I'm not as socially shy as I think....
