Hello Improv Friends,

Several folks have expressed to me their desire to learn to meditate, so I'm going to try to teach a bunch of you. About 20 folks expressed their interest on Facebook and I've gotten maybe five confirmations.

This is from a Buddhist tradition, but it is in no way "religious." It's very simple breath-awareness meditation. Essentially, focusing on your breath while sitting quietly. We may do a little walking meditation too.

--11:00 AM to Noon this Saturday, May 5, 2012 (We won't be meditating the whole hour, don't worry.)
--Hideout Green Room
--You can sit in a chair if you like, but if you prefer to sit on the floor you may want to bring a blanket, cushion, or the like.
--Wear comfortable clothes

Thanks to the Hideout for giving me the room, and thanks to a community that lets me contribute what I have to bring.

I could always use some help with this. YouTube meditations are just okay.

Unfortunately, I'll be in a much cooler place - Colorado.

Yay! One of my practitioner buddies just agreed to be there for moral support, so you'll all get to meet my friend Ruth and she'll help us out.
