Interested in "QI" type program?

This is in the "brainstorming" stage, but I'm interested in doing a QI style program for the Web. Who would be interested? We'd essentially be shooting live-to-tape and I'd like to see this done in front of an audience if possible...

There is a sense in which attacking this movie is like kicking a dog for not being better at calculus.

I think it's this. Never watched it myself.

I could use a few things to get the whole thing set up. I have two HD cameras, I think I need a minimum of three to record the show in 480p. I also need a venue, a host, and 5 panelists.

I'm thinking about calling it "Too Much Information" or "TMI" for short.

Have no Idea about QI outside the healthcare industry but I'm interested.

I'd be interested, I often claim to know a lot of useless information and make up the rest when I don't know all of it

Anyone have any ideas for the venue?

The venue should, hopefully have room for a studio audience.

I'd also prefer that it wouldn't be held downtown, as I'm going to be working with a LOT of fiddly gear that I really don't want to carry for blocks to and from the car, so that leaves out Hideout and TNM.

Coldtowne's pretty full-up on their schedule.

I have no idea if Institution would be interested.

I might be able to approach the Alamo Drafthouse.

And I might be able to approach Texas Student Productions or KLRU.

You could also see about the Austin Variety Show studio. Alex Gray used them for Epic! -- don't know how much it costs.
