The Professor: Improv Inspired By Doctor Who, Season 2!

We're back for season two! This time, we have a few changes in store including two new Professors (breaking not just the time and space barriers but the sex barrier too with a female Professor), dual companions for our time lords in multiple shows, and a special new trick for our TARDIS door. Also, much like the current Doctor Who show does each season, it's likely there will be a continuing plot thread moving its way in the background through subtle hints during the course of our 10-show run to culminate in the last episode. Each show will stand on its own though, so come see this cosmic adventure through space and time. Buy your tickets here!

Facebook event page here.

The full cast is:

Ryan Austin.
Lacy Shawn.
Emily Breedlove.
Katie Thornton.
Kayla Lane Freeman.
Colin Bates.
Clay Towery.
Quinn Buckner.
Lindsey Reeves.

And our Professors:

Peter Rogers.
Mike Ferstenfeld.
Karen Jane DeWitt.

This is not Doctor Who. This is The Professor. He may seem incredibly similar to The Doctor, but that’s just a coincidence. Or a hiccup in the space time continuum that created a parallel universe. The Professor and his companion travel through their door-shaped TARDIS to anywhere and anywhen to explore the cosmic classroom. Come see this Doctor Who-inspired show about the Professor and his (or her) companions as they travel the cosmos and timestream in search of new adventures through improv.

That would be Patrick Thornton, Katie Thornton's husband. If your computer can handle it, here's an even higher resolution version.

The only thing that can make that intro more perfect is if there was a little Institution Theater logo at the very bottom at the beginning of it, similar to how BBC's logo is briefly flashed at the beginning.

I will definitely be watching this week's episode.

I didn't notice all of the logos down there on the main image. Also, I was unaware this played elsewhere.

Why not flash 'em all?
