FACT OF THE DAY: The tongue-twister "She sells seashells by the seashore" is based on a real person, Mary Anning, an amateur paleontologist who discovered the first ichthyosaur, plesiosaur, and pterodactyl, and who sold fossils to tourists along the Dorset coast.
