Tonight the Hideout's hosting some out-of-towners from Yale at the Threefer. Go give those Yankee nerds a Texas welcome.

FACT OF THE DAY: A man named Jerry Parr was inspired to join the Secret Service after seeing the 1939 film "Code of the Secret Service," starring Ronald Reagan, as a young boy. In 1981, Parr saved Reagan's life by pushing him into the limousine and ordering it to the hospital when Reagan was shot.

yay Purple Crayon! :) the Jury got to play with them back in the day and it was super fun. i imagine it's not the same people now (unless Yale has started some kind of 10 year degree plan?), but i'm sure they're still awesome!

As Jordan pointed out, The Purple Crayon of Yale is actually an improv group from Yale, on tour during their Spring break. Woo! It'd be awesome if we had a good crowd of improvisers to come and make them feel welcome.

And it's worth mentioning again the Free Fringe tonight is Ladies' Night, and has an All-Lady Start Trekkin' in it. Plus the debut of Firth & Arjet's new format.

Thanks Spots. I just base things off the respective theater calendars, so if you can get those recitals on there, I'll get em in my posts.
