This is the (7 years running) traditional STAPLE! after-party, where artists make art live before your eyes, and same is sold to benefit KOOP Community Radio.

DJ Digg and DJ LD on deck.

Being held at Shangri-La Saturday 3/3, in the evening and into the wee hours.

Come get your groove on, and pick up something groovy for your wall.

I've gone to this party three years in a row now and I love it each time. Let's get some imps in the house!

Oh and Chris, can anyone sign up to do the live art, or is that a privilege reserved for the expo's celebrities?

Hey Brad! Glad you have enjoyed it in the past.

We will have a sign in sheet there for anyone who wants to participate. Someone like Kevin Eastman might get bumped up the list, though. ;)

There will be some matboard and a few art supplies available to use. If there is anything special you like to draw with, then you might want to bring it.

We suggest folks keep it to about 15-20 minutes on the boards, so everyone can get a turn. Draw fast!

I've gone to this every year I've lived in Austin, which is one year less than STAPLE has been around. Some years have been better than others, but it's almost always the highlight of the convention.
