Catchin' Frogs with The Amazon and The Milksop

Join The Amazon and The Milksop (Kaci Beeler and Curtis Luciani) for the latest in their catalog of hilarious, grotesque, and historically-fictionalized show concepts this Thursday in the 8pm Threefer.
Their brand new show,
Catchin’ Frogs: Down-Home Yarns & Good Ole Times, brings the audience back to the blackberry-pickin’, white-washin’, creek fishin’ era of Mark Twain, The Little House on The Prairie, and Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.
Taking inspiration from the core elements and character-types of these works of Southern American nostalgia, Kaci and Curtis do what they do best – thoroughly amuse and mess with each other as they explore one of their favorite settings for comedy gold.
---
I'm
very excited to debut this new show with Curtis on Thursday night along with sets from Franz & Dave and Girls Girls Girls!
To give you improvisers a better idea of this show and its tone, we originally wanted to call it Tall Tales And Down-Home Horseshit, an acid-soaked hoedown with a gang of American grotesques.
But...we thought that might confuse/turn-off some patrons.

Personally speaking, all you have to do is mention Mark Twain and my interest is piqued.
Plus, I haven't seen the lovely GGG since OOB.
I be at de lime, yah nuh.

An evening of Kafka and Twain. If GGG does their show in the style of Joseph Conrad, then it will be just like high school.

It's a promo for the first week's show.
We are going to be doing a sort of improvised Faulkner.

Hmmm... didn't see any Jordans there. They all missed out on hand-fed cherry pie.
Oh, wait...
Kaci, Curtis - most enjoyable. Hope to see it again. Thank you!

I only got to see about half of this and I'm sorry I missed the rest. It was an amazing show - Curtis and Kaci really put out a great show every time they hit the stage.

You hear that, Curtis? I guess we have no choice but to keep giving the people what they want!

The look on your face said "Hahaha, here we go!" and the look on his face said "I didn't think this through."
