Anyone have recommendations for online defensive driving?

Post by Dan »

So I got my first ticket ever, for going 30 mph (didn't know I was passing through a school zone.)

And now I have to do the defensive driving thing

I want to do it online, but I'm not sure what option to pick. Obviously defensive driving courses are not going to be a wonderful experience no matter where you go, but I'd like to at the least have a course that is hassle free and solid. Ideally, it would be a course that is interesting and informative and so forth, but I'll settle for an online course that's not terrible.

Anyone have recommendations?

It's really corny flash animation, and not terribly funny, but they get through all the crap in a way that is palatable, and then get your paperwork to you super-fast. Also, you don't have to do it all in one sitting, which is handy.

I've found my favorite method is the rentable DVDs—you can just have the video junk playing in the background while you surf the Facebook.

I actually went ahead and did http://www.drivelikethis.com/. Instead of having to take one big test at the end, you take two questions at the end of every section, which makes the already incredibly easier test even less stressful. So that was nice. And their content was reasonably solid--wouldn't win any awards, but I found myself learning some new things and smiling somewhat. So if anyone in the future needs to take defensive driving, that's not a bad option. Thanks for your feedback everyone!
