When: 11am to 5pm on December 10th
Where: Brand New Theatre Co. North Austin Studio, 8701 W. Parmer Ln. #1122
Who is it for?: Acting students, professional actors, playwrights and other theatre artists/theatre enthusiasts. (It's also a good opportunity to check out the space to see if you want to rent it for your own rehearsals/classes.)

What will take place?:
• 11am to 1pm - Demonstrations of children's classes every half hour. Come and go after each demonstration with opportunities to talk to the teacher, enroll in classes or just check out the space.
•1pm to 3pm - Demonstrations of adult acting classes and actor's gym every half hour. Come and go after each demonstration with opportunities to meet the artistic director, enroll in a class or sign up for the actor's gym mailing list.
•3pm to 5pm - Demonstration and discussion of theatre devising. Come and Go with opportunities to meet the artistic director and discuss your own theatre interests (feel free to drop off a resume or writing sample), sign up for the audition list etc.

The Hideout Theatre will be offering Improv classes at BNTC starting in January.
Class Description:
Level One Improv Comedy
Have fun, meet new people and learn to improvise in a friendly, low-pressure environment. This workshop presented by the Hideout Theatre (Austin's downtown home for improv theater and comedy) is designed for anyone who wants to loosen up, be more spontaneous and learn to take risks on stage and in life. Each week you’ll play games and explore a challenging variety of improv exercises that unleash your natural creativity and humor. Whether you’re just looking for a fun experience, or you think improv might just be your new thing, this class is the perfect place to get started.
