What if someone could read your mind? If it were possible to interpret the sounds, vibrations and energy that emanate from objects in order to identify them without ever seeing them first. Imagine that two people could predict your thoughts, know what you are going to say before you even say it, know about your past and future.

Mentalists Mick Napier and Jennifer Estlin believe…that none of this is possible. But they’ll convince you that it could be. Napier and Estlin’s “A Magic Evening” will challenge your sense of reality, space and time — or at least cause you to ask, “How’d they do that?”

Opening for Napier and Estlin is one of Austin’s finest improv comedy troupes, You’re Not My Real Dad — featuring Tom Booker, Asaf Ronen, Dave Buckman and John Ratliff.

Saturday, November 5 at 10pm in the Hideout Downstairs Theatre, $12
Tickets and more info can be found here: http://www.hideouttheatre.com/shows/ama ... randestlin

We've also had a couple spots open up in the Mick Napier weekend workshop (or you can pay a significantly smaller fee to audit the workshops).

Honest question, is this a comedy show? Or a straight magic show? Or a comedy-magic show?

well, You're Not My Real Dad is opening and the only thing magic about us is how comedic we are.

Indeed! As for the mentalism part of the evening, as near as I can tell, it's a straight magic show.

And speaking of amazing. I was talking with folks for the next three hours about HOW they did the mentalism stuff.
