very cool to see that crossover. She's Canonball Adderley's grand-niece if I'm not mistaken, but both her and her dad were very talented in their own right.

Thanks to all who came out last night to see Deano Jones as Santa. It was a very fun show.

TONIGHT! we have a very Special SURPRISE Guest Star. Unfortunately, the amazing Tom Booker has caught a cold and can't play tonight. So we asked THE MICHAEL THOMAS to step into the role and he graciously agreed!

So for a very special show, come out tonight to see "Elf Employment" with the dashing musical improviser, Michael Thomas!!!

Fri 12/16 -- Les McGehee

Les is a cornerstone in the Austin improv community and owner of the Comedy Sportz Austin show. Author of "Plays Well With Others", Les has brought improv to a countless mass of people, on and off stage. Praised by performers and audiences alike, Les really understands the art of entertainment. He was also in our last improvised musical, "Crack!" We are so excited to have Les joining the cast again, but as SANTA in our show!

Sat 12/17 --John Ratliff
John has worked as a freelance writer, musician, record store clerk, copy editor, stained-glass glazier (El Paso, TX), radio DJ (Ruidoso, NM), English teacher (the Czech Republic), and drafter of congratulatory and honorary resolutions (the Texas Legislature). In addition to The Glamping Trip, he plays with Ratliff & Jackson and You're Not My Real Dad, and he appeared in the Hideout Theatre's Austin Secrets. He teaches at the Hideout and at ColdTowne, where he's a member of the faculty. AND, John was also in our last improvised musical, "Crack!" We're super excited to have Ratliff join the PIP cast again in this, our 2011 holiday show!

*This will also be the last chance to see a PIP show for a while, as we're taking a short break before beginning a cloistered working R&D period on our 2012 season, including the bigger and more fantastic underwater black-light show, "Off The Reef" which kicks off our season in June!
