Volunteers needed for College Improv Tounament Sat. 8/15!
Posted: October 10th, 2011, 2:58 pm
Hi Austin Improvisers,
I am Keith Habersberger, and I'm the Associate Producer of the College Improv Tournament. This coming Saturday, October 15th, we'll be having 10 Southwest area teams playing in the CIT Southwest Regionals. There will be matches at 12, 2, 4 (preliminary matches), and 8pm (finals match) and I'm looking for someone to pull lights and a few people to help work the door throughout the day. If you are only available for part of the day, that's totally fine, but I really could use some extra hands to make the tournament run smoothly.
I am also looking for some area teachers/experienced performers to act as judges for the day. It would be best if the judges could do all three of the 12, 2, and 4pm matches since they will also choose a wild card team from the day to compete with the respective winners that compete in the 8pm finals match.
Obviously this is coming up very soon, so please let me know ASAP if you can help in any way.
Unfortunately, as a non-profit organization, I have no way of truly compensating you all for your work, but you will be helping and inspiring the next generation of improvisers. I'll also be eternally grateful.
Thanks so much if you can help.
