Hello, AIC! I am now teaching a Puppet Manipulation class through
UT's Informal classes. If you've been curious about working
with traditional Foam & Fleece style puppets like we use in the
PIP shows, here is a great chance for you to learn the basics!
UT INFORMAL CLASS
Puppet Manipulation
Learn how to bring life to inanimate objects and make people care about your characters. Using scripts, games and a variety of puppet types & set pieces, students will explore and play with the basics of puppet manipulation—eye contact, breath, staging, etc.
Requirements: There is a additional $10 lab fee for equipment use; goes towards repairing puppets worn out with use.
