Weapons needed for spacework practice

Post by mcslionhair »

Weird improv related request but does anyone have any weapons I can borrow for a couple weeks? I'm coaching a troupe that is doing weapon spacework and I feel like the best way to get accurate spacework is to of actually held the object. I'm looking for whatever you can give; swords, axes, shields, okinawan weapons, fake guns, etc... (fake/replica weapons preferred I wanna keep this as safe a possible haha). We won't be using them on each other or damaging them in anyway more just how to hold them, the weight they carry, and pulling them out/putting them away, stuff like that. Just send me a message and we'll work somethings out, thanks!

yeah, let me compile a few of my collection. i've got a practice sword, staff, two sets of nunchukus, throwing knives, an ornamental short sword...only real guns, though, so don't think i can loan those out. ;)

I know a LARPer who has a bunch of 'boffer' swords and shields. If you're interested I could ask him if they're available.
