Hey Puppet Lovers!

THE DAY HAS ARRIVED! Tomorrow at 11am on Saturday 9/3, the PIP will create a PUPPET AND PEOPLE FLASH MOB that we will be filming for a spoof of Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams (I Walk Alone).

MEET US downtown, one block south of the gates of the Capitol on the intersection of 10th and Congress Ave.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SHOW UP! We're going to IMPROVISE the CROWD SCENE at the end of our video.

* At 11am, our "Rockstar" is going to start running down Congress towards the Capitol gates
* FOLLOW HER! As she runs, try to get her to notice you.
* At 11:15am (or whenever she gets to the Capitol gates at 11th and Congress), our rockstar is going to turn and sing to the people there about how "Alone" she is.
* YOU are going to give her the best time of her life, cheering, dancing and jumping around and trying to make her see that you are there and a part of the song.
* At 11:20am (or when the song ends), we all disperse and go about our Saturday.

This event is BYOP -- BRING YOUR OWN PUPPET! FYI -- A puppet can be anything that you pick up and move around like a person or an animal. It can be a sock, a stuffed animal, a cooking utensil, or even your own hand.

To set the scene:
In our video, the rockstar (played by Aden Kirschner) is singing about being isolated and alone. Some friendly puppets here his/her lament and come up trying to make friends. The singer, despondent, pushes them away. New puppets keep trying to come up and make friends or give hugs, but the singer keeps pushing, then punching, and finally booting them off frame. However, the puppets keep coming and they overwhelm the singer, who starts running and trying to hide from them. But the puppets, and now pedestrians, keep finding the singer and trying to get close to him/her. Until (final lines, final shot) there is a mass of people and puppets chasing the singer down Congress Ave to the gates of the capitol where he/she sings the last lines to the crowd.

Cya there!

(In puppets we trust)
