long winded diatribe that only circles the original point i created this post to make. all erased at least five times and then re-edited to make sure i am not saying something inflammatory or hurtful.

my end point is that this is the watered down point i originally sought to make, but am doing so poorly.

Bold, absolutest statement based on anecdotal evidence. Personal example inflating own ego.

half hearted defense of other city i used to live in. reminder to everyone that i used to live in that city. admission that Austin is still cooler than that city i used to live in.

Inquiry about where to sign up for this week's Maestro, coupled with a reminder of: my upcoming birthday, the fact I plan to be in town for one week only, friends are also in town who want to see me do improv, the fact I won the previous week, and a plea to help me escape from my relatives.
