Do any of you like metallica?

As a musician: I appreciate the technical proficiency.

As a listener: No.

Hard to say after watching that weird documentary they did. And then there's NAPSTER. Tunes-wise, they definitely have a place in the ol' Rock-n-Roll.

So, --sure.

The video for One used to give me nightmares and freak me OUT, but it's still one of my favorite videos of all time.

I like more industrial metal. Metallica are OK.

Thanks to overexposure from radio I prefer not to listen to them anymore.

(same with Aerosmith)

But that's hardly the fault of the music. So yes, they're talented folks. Not that that was the question.

I have a special place in my heart for their first several albums. "In Justice for All" still holds for me.

If you play a rock instrument at all, you see them in a different way. It's hard not to like their rhythm guitar.

Also – "Some Kind of Monster" is a genuinely awesome film (maybe even more so if you don't know anything about Metallica). Ask Curtis about this movie.

I appreciate the feedback and honesty everyone has been brave enough to show here.

I have gathered the information I needed.

For the record. I used to love metallica when i first started playing guitar. I still love watching some kind of monster.
